Cat. #00164023: JANET LEIGH

Uncommonly early bold pencil signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person by a busy New York City-based autograph hound around 1949 and decorated, apparently some years later, with a small magazine image of the star. In good condition. Beautiful leading lady Janet Leigh earned an Oscar nod for her portrayal of Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's horror masterpiece Psycho (1960), and was also memorable in Little Women (1949), Holiday Affair (1949), Angels in the Outfield (1951), Scaramouche (1952), Houdini (1953), The Black Shield of Falworth (1954), Living It Up (1954), The Vikings (1958), The Perfect Furlough (1958), Who Was That Lady? (1960), The Manchurian Candidate (1962), and Bye Bye Birdie (1963).
